Dorothy Dean Sisk, 81, of Hanson, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Dorothy Dean Sisk, 81, of Hanson, KY passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her home.

She was born on August 31, 1931 in Slaughters, KY to the late Mable and Thomas Forker. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of Hanson United Methodist Church in Hanson where she was active in the United Methodist Women's group and the church choir.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Sisk; her brother, William Forker and her sister, Helen Tompkins.

She is survived by her son, David (Theda) Sisk of Hanson; grandsons, Bryan Sisk of Hanson and Brandon (Kaitlin) Sisk of Brownsville, KY; her sisters, Kathryn Hook, Loretta Crowley both of Hanson, Barbara Hibbs, Jewell Foster both of Madisonville; Jonell Stone of Robards, KY and Shirley Sugg of Sebree, KY; her special friend and niece, Lane Harberson of Slaughters, KY; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Hanson United Methodist Church in Hanson with Pastor William Moore officiating. Burial to follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Hanson United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hanson United Methodist Church Music Ministry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
