treesunHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Dwight Lynn Demoss, 54, of Nebo, KY, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at his residence.

He was born October 1, 1958 in Hopkins Co., KY to Shirley Morse Demoss of Henderson, KY and the late Ishmael Demoss. He was also preceded in death by his two grandfathers, George Morse and Ted Demoss; step-grandfather, Winslow Demoss; and one brother, Reagie Demoss.

Mr. Demoss loved to spend time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister, Reba Crook of Nebo; grandmother, Lucille Demoss; three brothers, Alan (Anna) Demoss of Slaughters, KY; Jaron (Wendy) Demoss of Madisonville and Brett Demoss of Nebo and several nieces; nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Demoss officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Island Cemetery in Coiltown, KY.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Alan Demoss, Brett Demoss, Jaron Demoss, Ethan Crook, Casey Crook and Chance Demoss.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dwight Demoss Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
