Christopher Lee Simms, 41, of Madisonville, KY

1sunsetHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Christopher Lee Simms, 41, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home.

He was born on March 28, 1972 in Madisonville, Ky to Raymond Simms and the late Anna Petitt. He was formerly employed with Madisonville Tire and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Simms of Nortonville, KY; his father, Raymond Simms of Nebo, KY; his foster parents, James (Vicky) Morrow of Madisonville; his daughters, Shawna Simms of Tennessee, Sierra Simms and Bethaney Simms both of Nortonville; his grandmother, Marion Frederick of Dixon, KY; his sisters, Lindsey Simms of Providence, KY, Elizabeth Gossett of Madisonville and Jamie Ross of Hanson, KY; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Danny Nelson officiating. Burial to follow in Star Hope Cemetery near Providence, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville.
