HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Howard Richard ‘Dick' Anderson, 63, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

He was born December 25, 1949 in Crawfordsville, IN to the late Howard Winston and Mary Katherine Bennett Anderson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Strain.

Mr. Anderson retired from GE with after 26 year of service. He was confirmed and baptized in the Lutheran faith, he was an Eagle Scout, liked to fish, an avid Nascar fan that pulled for Jeff Gordon (We won't hold that against him), a UK Basketball fan. He loved to garden and study military history.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Elaine Tucker Anderson; two brothers, Allen (Belinda) Anderson of Florida and Robert (Lynn) Anderson of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Donna Montgomery of Madisonville and Carol (Joseph) Corso of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to your favorite charity.
