Dwight Howard Parish, 56, of Manitou, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Dwight Howard Parish, 56, of Manitou, KY passed away at 9:50 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born on April 23, 1957 in Manitou, KY to Virgil Lee Parish and Ruby Duncan Parish. He was formerly in car sales and grocery produce. He was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Lee Parish and a brother, Jerry Wayne Parish.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Duncan Parish of Madisonville; two sisters, Patsy (Hubert) Stone of Dixon, KY, and Judy (Don) Moore of Madisonville; an uncle, Howard (Kirby) Parish; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Eddie Fleming officiating and Rev. Ronald Hendricks assisting. Burial to follow in Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Terry Arnold, Bruce Arnold, Duane Arnold, Keith Clayton, Kevin Clayton, Bradford Parish, Allen Oakley and Roger Gibson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Concord General Baptist Church Cemetery fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
