Robert Raymond Morck, 64, of Madisonville, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Robert Raymond Morck, 64, of Madisonville, Ky passed into the loving arms of his Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the home of his daughter in St. Louis, MO after a time of illness in Barnes Jewish Hospital. Bob lived in Madisonville, KY with his wife Patricia, where he attended Victory Church. He graduated from Girard College and LaSalle University, both in Philadelphia, PA.

After retirement from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections in Camp Hill, PA, Bob then worked with Teen Challenge in Harrisburg, PA and Western and Eastern Ky. He had a heart for those struggling with addiction.

In addition to his wife Patricia, Robert is survived by his step-father, Paul Heap, and his sister, Susan Stumpo. Bob also has three beloved children: Christopher of New Bedford, MA, Daniel of Madisonville, KY, and Patrice of St. Louis, MO; seven cherished grandchildren: Brennan, Claire, Isabel, Noelle, Nataleigh, Emilia and Paisleigh; and several nieces and nephews.

All those who know him will greatly miss Bob's enthusiastic love of the beauty and diversity of God's Creation, which he also expressed in his painting, and his wholehearted self-giving to those around him - family, friends, and strangers alike. Bob inspired an unashamed zeal for life and living and a generous faithfulness to God and God's people.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m.  Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Morck and Rev. Kris Goodman officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.  until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
