Carolyn Blanchard, 70, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Carolyn Blanchard, 70, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:27 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home.

She was born on March 9, 1943 in Central City, KY to the late Gwen and Jeff McKinney. She retired as an LPN with NHC Healthcare of Madisonville and was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold McKinney.

She is survived by her daughters, Daphne (Garland) Skaggs of Madisonville and Tracy Slinker of Nashville, TN; her son, Chris (Paige) Brown of Madisonville; her grandsons, Chad Steirsman of Hopkinsville, KY and Tony Skaggs of Madisonville; her sister, June Neal of Toledo, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Grace Warehouse Church in Madisonville with Bro. Gary Bennett officiating. Burial to be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at Grace Warehouse Church. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
