Ludie B. Milum, 86, of Nebo, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Ludie B. Milum, 86, of Nebo, Ky passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her sons residence.

She was born October 19, 1927 in Dunn, NC to the late Bennette Lockamy and Vastie Harriss Lockmy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Milum Sr., two brothers, and two sisters.

She was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW. She was patriotic in her clothing choices and loved playing bingo.

She is survived by one daughter, Vinetta Pavy of Hopkinsville, Ky; three sons, John (Mary) Gunby of Nebo, Paul W. (Anysa) Milum Jr. of Cookeville, TN, and Wayne (Debi) Segedy of Dallas, TX; one brother, Clifford Lockamy of Fayetteville, NC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday at the funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Health Hospice. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
