Mike 'Mumbles' 'Duck' Sutton, 56, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Mike 'Mumbles' 'Duck' Sutton, 56, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his residence in Madisonville.

He was born June 24, 1957 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Thomas Sutton and Margaret Gipson Sutton. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Garland and Janie Rickard.

Mr. Sutton was a disabled coal miner having worked for South Hopkins Coal, Sextet, Green River Coal and Magic Coal. He was an avid hunter and Nascar fan.

He is survived by, one daughter, Stephanie (Jerry) Pollard of Madisonville; one son, Adam Sutton of Madisonville; one sister, Eva (Charles) Downs of Slaughters, KY; two brothers, Thomas Sutton, Jr. of Texas and Stevie (Carolyn) Sutton of Slaughters; caretaker, Donna Sutton of Madisonville and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at the United Church of Jesus Christ on Beagle Park Dr. There will be a memorial service where the family request you wear camouflage attire if possible.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Sutton memorial fund c/o Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the church.
