Morgan Ford Sisk, 84, of Madisonville, Ky.

morgan ford siskMADISONVILLE, Ky. – Morgan Ford Sisk, 84, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 7:10 a.m. EST, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was born December 2, 1929 in Rabbit Ridge, Ky. to the late William Morris Sisk and Bertha Grable Sisk.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Madisonville. He served in the Military, and was a member of the Madisonville Masonic Lodge for over 65 years. Mr. Sisk was a Kentucky Colonel, and also supported the Colonial Williamsburg Society. Mr. Sisk worked for over 35 years for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He was a very loyal Kentucky Wild Cat fan.

Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Dixie Jean Wedding Sisk of Evansville, Ind.

Mr. Sisk is survived by one daughter, Karen (Bill) Sisk Veith of Louisville, Ky.; one son, David Morgan (James Walker) Sisk of Louisville; and one grandson, William Andrew Veith of Louisville.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Rev. William Stafford. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Delano, Greg Delano, Paul Allen Summers, Chad Ramsey, Bill Veith, and Tom Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be William Andrew Veith, James Judson Walker, Harry Lance Ruth, Don Buffington and Bill Long.
