Sharon Morgan, 73, of Madisonville, Ky. (Pending)

MADISONVILLE, Ky. – Sharon Morgan, 73, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away at 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on November 13, 1940 in Evansville, Ind. to the late Marie and Arthur Miller. She was formerly employed with the United States Postal service in Evansville and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Morgan; grandson, Justin Bennett; one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Shvawn) Morgan of Jordan, Minn.; daughter, Tonya (Charles) Bennett of Madisonville; brothers, Art Miller, Terry Miller and Bill Miller; sisters, Shirley Dockery and Betty Hardin; granddaughter, Amber Morgan; grandsons, Kyle Morgan and Zeb Bennett; great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Hamblin; great-grandson, Braxtyn Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Chaplain Pat Dew officiating. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in St. Charles, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon until the funeral hour Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.
