William H. 'Bill' Hyatt, 92, of Madisonville, Ky.

william hyattMADISONVILLE, Ky. – William H. "Bill" Hyatt, 92, of Madisonville passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

He was born September 16, 1921 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late William Peasley Hyatt and Nealie Jackson Harris.

Mr. Hyatt was a member of the First Christian Church in Madisonville. He was also a member of the VFW #1114 of Evansville, the Masonic Lodge #958 of Henderson and a life member of the 11th Bomb Group Association.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Hyatt.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patricia Oldham Hyatt of Madisonville and his cousin, Jim (Sharon) Harris of Madisonville.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Don McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Military rites will be given by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be members of the Hopkins County Honor Guard.
