Myra (Dean) Carr, age 93, of Cadiz, KY

flower03CADIZ, Ky. - Myra (Dean) Carr, age 93, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Carr was a homemaker and a long time member of Cadiz Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY where she had taught Sunday school for a number of years. She was also a member of the Cadiz Homemaker's Club, American Quilter's Society, NARFE and the VFW Post No. 74 Women's Auxiliary.

She was survived by: Son & Daughter-In-Law - Jeff & Christi Carr, Paducah, KY, Two Grandsons - John P. Carr, Paducah, KY & William J. Carr, Paducah, KY, Two Brothers - Leslie Guier, Bowling Green, KY & Troy Guier, Hopkinsville, KY, Three Sisters- Jean Ferguson, Johnstown, OH, Mary Hunt, Bellair, FL & Virginia Underwood, Hopkinsville, KY, Brother In Law - Garnett Carr, Hopkinsville, KY & Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Father - Forrest Isum Guier, Mother - Lucy Wilmoth Francis Guier, Husband - Hollis W. Carr, One Brother - Richard Guier, One Sister- Floella Carr & Two Sisters in infancy.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 27, 2013. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2013. Burial will follow the service at 2:00 PM at the Ky Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
