BENTON, Ky. - Lucille Wyatt, 89 of Calvert City, Ky passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013, at her home in Calvert City, Ky. She was a homemaker and member of Palma United Methodist Church.
Born Monday, March 3, 1924 in Butler County, Ky, she was the daughter of the late Edd Guffy and the late Emma Kuykendeall Guffy. She was the wife of the late Charles William Wyatt with whom she was married for 55 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet Story, husband Jack of Calvert City, KY, a son, Charles T. Wyatt, brother, Bill Guffy of Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Randy Story of Calvert City, KY., Amy Collins of Calvert City, KY., and Beth Morphew of Mayfield, KY.; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Rev. Jim Calhoun will officiate.
Interment will follow the service in the LaCenter Cemetery, LaCenter, KY.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday, July 14, 2013 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
