William Joseph (The Mick) Malloy, Sr. 83 of St. Louis formerly of Cadiz, Ky

obit21CADIZ, Ky. - William Joseph (The Mick) Malloy, Sr. 83 of St. Louis formerly of Cadiz, Ky passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his home following a short illness.

He had worked at United Liquors of Boston, MA and was Retired from Teamster Local 25; He was of the Catholic Faith and of the Red Sox Faith.

Survivors: Son: William Joseph Malloy, Jr., Cadiz, KY; Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Ellen Marie Malloy Harrington, & Kevin, St. Louis, MO; Sara Ann Malloy Beebe & Chuck, Cadiz, KY; 8 Grandchildren: Samantha Lynn & RJ Byerly, Paducah, KY; SGT Bruce Lewis Beebe, Cadiz, KY; Airman First Class, Matthew Harrington, St. Louis, MO; Morissa Jane Huskey, St. Louis, MO; Caleb Joseph Harrington, St. Louis, MO; Brittney Beebe, Cadiz, KY; Kyle Beebe, Cadiz, KY; Sean Beebe, Cadiz, KY; Great Grandson: Nolan Baxter, Cadiz, KY; Many Nieces, Nephews and dear friends survive.

Mr. Malloy was born on January 4, 1930 in Boston, MA to the late William & Ellen (Cronin) Malloy . He was also preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn M. Groves; 2 brothers; Peter D. Malloy & John J. Malloy; 2 sisters; Rita Bridget Emerson & Alice M. Morgan.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, August 17, at 2:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at King’s Funeral Home.
