LEXINGTON, Ky. - Patricia Chadwell, 74, of Lexington, KY passed away Sunday morning in peace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Irma Donahue and by her sisters, Eugenia Berry and Dorothy Hubrig. Patricia is survived by her husband Jackson Chadwell and her daughter, Amy Chadwell.
Patricia was a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School, as well as the University of KY-College of Pharmacy. She worked at St. Joe’s Pharmacy for 35 years and was the first woman to receive “Pharmacist of the Year” for the state of KY in 1973. Patricia also had a love of music through her catholic upbringing, which lead her to meet her church organist husband, with whom she was married to for the past 38 years. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and pharmacist, who will always be missed.
Visitation will be Wed, May 22, at Milward-Southland from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be Thursday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Catholic Action Center or the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC).
