LEXINGTON, Ky. - Brenda Kay (Warren) Nave, 66, wife of Mathew Wayne Nave passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Nov 3rd 2013 after a long battle with MS. She was born on February 24, 1947 in Somerset, Ky and graduated from Bryan Station High School in Lexington in 1965. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Lexington. She was the daughter of Stella Mounce Warren and the late Tillman Warren.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Wayne (married 45 years), mother Stella, brother Charles Warren (Diane) and sister Sherrill Clark, nieces Holly Enfinger and Jennifer Redmond, nephews Chip Warren, Shane Warren and Brooke Warren, along with several great nieces and nephews, two special furry friends 'Katie and Milo' and a host of other relatives and friends. A very special thanks to her loving caregiver Jodie Smith who was by her side until her passing, Jodie's late mother Shirley Scholler, Jodie's children Mike Crawford, Amanda Crawford and Hannah Perkins. A special thanks to Hospice of the Bluegrass for their wonderful care.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. No other services will be held. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
