Elta Ailene Decker Green, 90, of Paducah, KY

obit19PADUCAH, Ky. - Elta Ailene Decker Green, 90, of Paducah, formerly of Leitchfield KY, passed away 4:54 am Friday, June 14, 2013 at Baptist Health.

She was a graduate of Paducah Beauty School, and the owner of Elta’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and she volunteered for The Senior Citizens, and the Leukemia Foundation, and was a Girl Scout Leader and a big UK fan. In her later years she enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

Mrs. Green is survived by her two daughters, Patti Kerr of Paducah, Cherri Bell and husband Gary of Hickory; one son Leo Green Jr. of Paducah; nine grand children; Kent Green, Megan Green Tamisiea, Ame Kerr, Andrew Kerr, Melisa Long, Dustin Bell, Jennifer Bragg, Angela Crick, Charles Bell; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one very special life long friend Juanita Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Green Sr.; her daughter, Pamela Green; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Frank Decker, and Letha Napper Decker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June, 18, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Doug Hughes officiating.

Graveside services for Mrs. Green will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June, 18, 2013 at McGrew Cemetery in Leitchfield.

Visitation for Mrs. Green will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, June, 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
