Shirley Jean (Jackson) Frizzell, 82, of Bardwell

orangeskytreePADUCAH, Ky. - Shirley Jean (Jackson) Frizzell, 82, of Bardwell passed away at Baptist Health Tuesday July 9 at 12:55 pm.

She was a member of Bardwell Baptist Church, taught Sunday School there and at Burkley Baptist Church for many years. She sang with the Burkley Singers and the Golden Rule Quartet and worked at Garan Inc for over 32 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra June Frizzell of Bardwell; her sons, Tommy Frizzell of Hartford, KY, Lewis Jay “L J” Frizzell of Bardwell, Frankie Frizzell of Mayfield, Stevie G. Frizzell of Mayfield, and Fred Alan “Freddie” Frizzell of Fulton; her sister, Brenda Cook of Arlington; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Frizzell, Sr.; her parents, Jay James “Jaybird” Jackson and Alta Mae (Thomason) Jackson.

Services for Mrs. Frizzell will be held Saturday at 3:00pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Revs Rodney Bice and Tony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Burkley cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 am till service time.
