Charles D. ‘Buck’ Watson, 87, of Paducah, Ky

obit20PADUCAH, Ky. - Charles D. ‘Buck’ Watson, 87, of Paducah, Ky passed away at 1:23 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his residence. Buck was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, retired Credit Supervisor for GMAC, a member of Western Baptist Auxiliary, a member of the Civitan Club and a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps. veteran.

Buck is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Baker Watson; two sons, Charles A. Watson of Carbondale, IL and Edward B. Watson of Paducah, KY; three grandchildren, Sara L. Watson, Edward H. Watson and Katherine W. Avalon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Sarah A. Harlan, Trumalee W. Razor and Anna O. Anchelin; two brothers, Carl E. Watson and W. E. Watson. His parents were, Edward W. Watson and Zora Markham Watson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Immanuel Baptist Church 3465 Buckner Lane Paducah, KY 42001 and to Lourdes Hospice P.O. Box 7100 Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
