Floyd 'Bay ' Hopper, age 90, of Clinton, KY

obit10PADUCAH, Ky. - Floyd 'Bay ' Hopper, age 90, of Clinton, KY, passed away at 10:00 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Hopper retired from the maintenance department at Columbus-Belmont State Park. He served his country in the U.S. Army having served in WWII where he was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy Jean Webb and husband Kenny of Clinton, Sue Ann Gorham of Arlington; son, Larry Martin Hopper and wife LaTonya of Arlington; grandchildren, Jeffery Gorham of Arlington, Kenneth Lane Webb, Jr. of Clinton, Ashely Elane Webb of Clinton, SeRita Joyce Hopper of Arlington, Taylor Hopper of Arlington, Sherrie Hopper of Arlington, Elisha Hopper of Arlington; great grandchild, Lucy Dru Gargus of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue (Martin) Hopper, and one brother, Edward Hopper. His parents were Edd and Eva (McDaniel) Hopper.

Funeral Services for Floyd 'Bay ' Hopper will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with David Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
