Geneva Bell Ellington, 96, of Boaz, KY

PADUCAH, Ky. - Geneva Bell Ellington, 96, of Boaz, KY, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital. Mrs. Ellington was a member of Symsonia Baptist Church since 2006, was a member of Hardmoney Baptist Church for 66 yrs., a member of the Women’s Missionary Union, she was a housewife and a retired McCracken County School bus driver.

Geneva is survived by a daughter, Brenda Ellington McKnight and husband John of Paducah, KY; three sons, Joel Ellington and wife Geneva Ann of Paducah, KY, Jimmie Ellington and wife Sharon of Boaz, KY and Jerald Ellington and wife Mary of Boaz, KY; eleven grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren; two sisters, Joetta McIntosh of Boaz, KY and Helen Peyton of Symsonia, KY; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleatus Martin Ellington; one sister, Thelma Keeling; two brothers, W.C. Bell and Bill Bell. Her parents were, William Eulis Bell and Emma Yates Bell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in Hardmoney Cemetery. The Ellington family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
