Michael Stephen Cromika, Sr., 56, of Paducah, Ky

PADUCAH, Ky. - Michael Stephen Cromika, Sr., 56, of Paducah, Ky passed away on Sunday October 27, 2013 at 6:15 am.

Mike has been the Director of Information Services at Baptist Healthcare for 21 years. He has served on many committees and groups to improve patient care and healthcare technology throughout the Baptist Healthcare System. One of groups he was actively involved in was the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He also served as a liaison to the physician community in regards to healthcare technology. Mike has also been involved with the Paducah Tilghman High School football booster club for 18 years. He was also an active member of the Twisted Noodles, an Italian Cooking Team in Memphis, TN. Mike was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. When Mike was not spending time with his family, he enjoyed golfing and travelling.

Mike is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rondia Cromika (McClure), also of Paducah. One son, Michael S. Cromika, Jr. (wife Ashley Keel Cromika) of League City, TX, and two grandchildren Gavon Cromika and Grace Cromika, both of League City, TX. Mike is also survived by three brothers; John Cromika (wife Terri) of Lancaster, Ky, Kevin Cromika (wife Amy) of South Fulton, TN, and Paul Cromika (wife Donna) of Clinton, Ky, and one sister Jennifer Cromika (Kerry Harris) of Dresden, TN. Mike is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Michael Cromika and mother, Grace Jeane Cromika, both formerly of Clinton, Ky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Brad Henson and Rev. Phillip McClure officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Baptist Health Foundation Paducah, 2501 Ky Ave., Paducah, Ky 42003.
