Brunie Martin, 86, of Paducah, Ky

PADUCAH, Ky. - Brunie Martin,  86, of Paducah, Ky passed away at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at her home.

Born in Stanton, Ky. she had worked as a caregiver and sitter. A member of the Baptist Faith, she had attended Southland Baptist Temple.

Survivors include her two daughters, Diane Downs, and Jeannie Crooks, both of Paducah, five sisters, Mary Ann Tipton, Violet Ann Martin, and Ivory Jean Jones, all of Stanton, Irene Rogers, of Lexington, Ky. and Alene Centers, of Winchester, Ohio. Additional survivors include, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Woodford Martin, a daughter, Charlotte Martin, a son, Jerry Martin, a granddaughter, Shari Crooks Wallace, five sisters, and a brother. Her parents were Prince and Suzanne Larson Wilburn.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013, at the Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshall County, with the Rev. Jim Glover officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Ky Chapter, 6100 Dutchmans Lane Suite 401, Louisville, Ky. 42025.
