Carolyn Lee Bowen, 75 of Powderly, KY died Saturday morning May 18, 2013 at 4:30 a.m. at her home after several months illness.  She was born November 24,  1937 in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Bennie  Oliver Edwards and  Lettie  Mae Goode Edwards.  Carolyn was a housewife and homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning May 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, KY  by  Bishop Micky Strader and Mr. Jerry Rowe.  Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery

She is survived by her husband of 58 years

2 brothers Hilred Edwards of Powderly, KY
Douglas Edwards of Greenville, KY
