Lillian Marie Garrett

garrettMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Lillian Garrett, 89 of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, May 18,2013 at Belle Meade Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 17, 1923 in Eastern Kentucky to Vernie and Edith Johnson. Lillian was married to Shellie Garrett (deceased) and had one daughter, Luona Sears (deceased) and two brothers Lloyd Johnson and Bufford Johnson (deceased).

She is survived by one grand-daughter, Ramona (Kenneth) Couch and sister, Verna Faye (Billy) Johnston. Lillian has 2 step-son's, Eddie (Scarlet) Garrett and Jimmy (Teresa) Garrett.

Lillian was a member of Cherry Grove Church of Christ, Weir her entire life and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also was a 4-H leader and worked at Baxter's factory in Greenville. Her passion was Antiques and was very proud to own and operate Lillian's Antique stores in Greenville for many years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon  May 22, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky with Bobby Gardner officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Grove Church, Weir, Ky. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon May 22, 2013  after 1:00 p.m. until Funeral time.  Online condolences to the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
