skybirdMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Clifford E. Hardison, 89, of Bremen, Ky passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 9:00AM at Western Ky Veterans Center in Hanson. Mr. Hardison was born July 3, 1924 in Muhlenberg County. He was a heavy equipment operator at Peabody Coal Co., and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed building small race cars and tractors, and loved to work in iron and wood. He was a wounded World War II Army veteran, and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hildaree Hardison; son Garry Hardison; and grandson Tyler Hardison.

Survivors include his sister-in-laws, James and Shelby Jean Edwards of Bremen, Ethelene Hardison of Paducah, Wyvonna Webb of North Lake, IL, and Wanda Robison of Grays Lake, IL; great-grandson Kainen Hardison of Sacramento; and brother-in-laws Richard Miller and Hobert Stewart, both of Central City.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Darren Pentecost officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
