Betty Jo DeArmond, 69, of Beech Creek

skybirdMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Betty Jo DeArmond, 69, of Beech Creek, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Ms. DeArmond was born November 12, 1943 in Muhlenberg County. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was the daughter of the late Jewell Lyons of Muskogee Oklahoma and Ursa Lee Lyons of Beech Creek.

She was preceded in death by two precious grandchildren, Heather Dawn Wester, and Jeremy Lee Ewing.

She is survived by six children, Dale (Pam Brooks) DeArmond of Greenville, Pam DeArmond (Jeff Williams) of Greenville, Annette (John) France of Central City, Debbie DeArmond (Blaine Parrish) of Bowling Green, David Alan DeArmond (Kim McDonald) of Beech Creek, and Jaime Lyn Heady (Shawn Simmons) of Bremen; Sister, Jueldean "Judy" (J.C.) Graves of Greenville; Brother, Jackie Lyons of Greenville; Half-sisters Judy Lyons Melton and Deanna Livingston; Half brothers Paul Lyons and Tommy Lyons ; 20 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren, and so many more family and friends who loved and will miss this beautiful and classy lady.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 2:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Burial in Wyatt's Chapel Cemetery in Drakesboro. Visitation will be Monday at 5 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
