MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Linda Kathleen Mayes, 61 of Drakesboro passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born April 1, 1952 in St. Louis and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness church in Central City. She was also a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Mayes of Drakesboro; sons, Dustin Volt of California and Ryan Murphy of St. Louis; daughter, Shelly Volt Hazel of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Shar of Colorado and Helen Messner of St. Lous.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mayes will be Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Larry Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Cleaton. Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 5:30 PM at the funeral home.
