Virginia Frances Paleja, 80 of Saginaw, Michigan

photo obit1014MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Virginia Frances Paleja, 80 of Saginaw, Michigan formerly of Greenville, KY passed away on October 13, 2013 in Saginaw, Michigan following an accident. She was born on May 14, 1933 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky the daughter of George and Cleda Gill. She was a member of King’s Baptist Church in Hartselle, Alabama. She enjoyed walking, riding her bicycle, flowers, gardening and anything to do with the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Connie Gill, Bill Gill, and Charles Gill, and one daughter, Gayla Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm from Gary’s Funeral by Reverend Tony Shanks. Burial will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Clifty, KY.

Survivors include:
Her husband John Paleja of Saginaw, Michigan
Two sons:
     Freddie (Donna) Slaughter of Greenville, KY
     Ronnie (Angie) Slaughter of Interlachen, Florida
One Step Daughter
     Joan Fouquet Paleja of Paris, France
Two Step Sons
     Valdis (Becky) Geidans of Saginaw, Michigan
    Juri Geidans of Ann Arbor, Michigan
Eleven Grandchildren
     Adam, Aaron, Ronni, Shannon, Ben, Chaz, Jacquelin, Ami, Brian, Jenny, Jenna
Twenty-Five Great Grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews

Friends may call on Friday, October 18, 2013 between 10:00 am and service time at 1:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY Contributions may be made to the Cedar Grove Cemetery Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
