MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Rev. Ernest Bean Jr., 87, of Greenville, Ky passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 8:25 a.m. at Richmond Place in Lexington. Rev. Bean was born May 7, 1926 in Muhlenberg County. He was a minister and U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his son, Ernest Bean III; grandchild Amanda Bean; and sister Ernestine Tate.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. E.W. Greenwalt officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
