MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Bessie Eades Rhye, 88, of Beech Creek, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at 12:45a.m. at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Rhye was born September 27, 1925 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Roger L. Eades of Greenville; daughter Carolyn Bratcher of Beech Creek; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Dwyer and Eugene Dwyer, both of Illinois; sisters Betty Crick of Madisonville and Maggie Phelps of Greenville; and step-sister Ruby Vance of Central City.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Darren Pentecost officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
