Julie Ann Dukes, 57, of Drakesboro, Ky.

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. — Julie Ann Dukes, 57, of Drakesboro, Ky. passed away on July 4, 2014 at 11:27 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Arthur Ray Jones and Jewel Groves Jones. She loved animals and enjoyed life. She was a wonderful sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her brother, her parents, and husband of 27 years, Michael Wayne Dukes in 2003.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky. with burial to follow in Emberry Cemetery in Weir, Ky.

She is survived by four siblings, Lenvil Ray Jones of Greenville, Ky., Ann (Jerry) Winn of Greenville, Ky., Brenda Jarvis of Greenville, Ky., Ricky Jones of Greenville, Ky.; boyfriend, Jason Phillips of Drakesboro, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
