Marie Wilkinson, 88, of Greenville, Ky.

gfh 76MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. — Marie Wilkinson, 88, of Greenville, Ky. passed away Sunday morning, July 6, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a short illness. She was born on November 11, 1925 in Todd County, Ky. the daughter of Isaac Lynch and Connie Greenfield Lynch. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Ky. and was loved by many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Tootie Wilkinson; brother, Charles Ray Lynch; and sister, Emma Ruth Davis.

She is survived by three daughters, Paula (William) Finley of Greenville, Ky., Martha Louis (Bobby) Adler of Henderson, Ky., and Susan (Vince) Jorn of Girard, Ill.; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Isaac Lynch, Jr., Of Englewood, Ohio, Jim Lynch of Bowling Green, Ky.; special niece, Dana Thaxton of Greenville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky. by Reverend Tim Davis and assisted by Jim Brown. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Ky.

Friends may call on Monday, July 7, 2014 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Ky., 158 South Main Street, Greenville, Ky. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
