Gladys Dean Conway, 85

gladys dean_conwayGREENVILLE, Ky. – Gladys Dean Conway, 85, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Mrs. Conway was born October 15, 1928 in Muhlenberg County. Mrs. Conway worked as a bookkeeper, including 12 years at Lawton Insurance. After graduating from Western Kentucky University at age 60, she worked as a school teacher before retirement and was a member of the Greenville United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Conway is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Conway; grandson, Troy Pope; parents, Earl Felty and Flora Moore Felty; sister, Ruby Felty Harris; and brother, Dallas C. Felty.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Pope of Greenville; son, David (Guyla) Conway of Central City; grandchildren, Misty (Brian "Scooter") Vester, Ashlee (Adam) Gary, Stuart (Leslie) Conway; great grandchildren, Haley Pope (Tyler) Crick, Keaton Vester, Elizabeth Pope, Davis Gary, Lane Gary, Brooks Gary; and a great-great grandchild, Kensleigh Crick.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 6, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be at a later date.
