POWDERLY, Ky. – Bobby Gene Walker, 73, of Powderly, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, at 10:12 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Walker was born November 3, 1940, in Christian County. He was partial owner of T & G Auto Parts, and also worked at Lester Motors for 14 1/2 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Lucille Walker; brother Kenneth Walker; and daughter Teresa Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Wells Walker; daughter, Tracy Jamison of Powderly; son, Jackie Allen "Buddy" (Nancy) Estes, Jr. of Powderly; grandchildren, Autumn and Jackson Estes of Powderly; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Martha Walker of Huntsville, Ala.; sister, Phyllis Walker of Powderly; sister-in-law, Brenda Walker of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens in Powderly, with Rev. Kevin Evitts officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City.
