BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - David Macklin Bramel, 60, of Alvaton passed away at 2:46 p.m. on May 15, 2013 at his residence.
The Fort Mitchell, Kentucky native was born April 20, 1953. He was a retired Director of Human Resources who excelled in his career. His family was his passion.
He was a 1971 Graduate of Beechwood High School and Western Kentucky University. He was also a member of the WKU Alumni Association and an active HAF Member and an Over All Sports Enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Debbie and his parents: Jane and Ed Bramel.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter: Christie Sayers Bramel; sister: Brenda (Larry) Israel; nephews: John (Jeanne) Berger, Brandon (Carrie) Berger; nieces: Mandy (Sean) Masters, Kimmie (David) Carmichael; sisters-in-law: Connie (Sandy) Costello and Robin (Jeff) Cox; three great-nephews; 6 great-nieces, and his mother-in-law: Nancy O’Dell, and his adorable canine companion: Muffin.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church with service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
