Juanita Howard, 92, of Bowling Green, Ky

obit7BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Juanita Howard, 92, of Bowling Green, Ky passed away at 8:22 am, Sunday, July 28, 2013 at her residence. The Livermore, KY native was born December 10, 1920, a daughter of the late Samuel B. Humphrey and Edith Collins Humphrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison N. Howard; brothers, Carter Humphrey, Leo Humphrey and Guy Humphrey; and two sisters, Mary Howard and Anna Bell Hudson.

Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and a member of Eastwood Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class.

Survivors include one son, Glenn Howard (Cathy) of Bowling Green; one daughter, Rebecca Howard Whittaker (Bill) of Glasgow, KY; one sister, Helen L. Robertson of Apex, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Wes Howard and Stacy Howard Jones (Andy) all of Bowling Green, John Whittaker (Jessica) of Clarkson, KY, Karen Whittaker Clark (Darrin) of Pineville, KY, and Mary Whittaker Jones (Rodney) of Lexington, KY; ten great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, Hannah, and Holden Clark all of Pineville, Kaela and Morgan Drake, both of Lexington, Tessa, Molly, and Hallie Whittaker of Clarkson, and Knox Jones of Bowling Green.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the charity of one's choice.
