Carol Thomas Birge, 72 of Bowling Green, Ky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Carol Thomas Birge, 72 of Bowling Green, Ky passed away at 10:49 a.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Bowling Green.

The Tompkinsville native was born on April 23, 1941 to the late Walter and Castiene Kingery Birge and was preceded in death by his wife: Lavinia Likins Birge. He retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. after 40 years and was a founding member of the A.M.A. Sky Mac Model Club. He served in the United States Air force and was a Baptist by faith.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m. and after 11 a.m. on Monday.

Survivors include one daughter: Doris Bowden and husband Eddie of Bowling Green; one granddaughter: Kaitlyn Bowden; one grandson: Steven Bowden and wife Jennifer all of Bowling Green; one great granddaughter: Destiny Kuvac of Bowling Green; and his favorite dog: 'Reggie'.
