Daniel Lee Pirtle, age 78, of Robards, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Daniel Lee Pirtle, age 78, of Robards, KY, passed away at 3:25am, Monday, April 15, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Daniel was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired truck driver working most recently with Henderson County Road Department.

Daniel Pirtle was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosabelle Pirtle, and his wife, Emma Jean Ledbetter Pirtle.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Annie Hawks Morganfield, KY, Julianne Goodman Morganfield, KY; 3 Sons: Nathan Pirtle Sebree, KY, Charles Ledbetter Henderson, KY, Terry Pirtle; 1 Sister: Lucille Burnes Niagra, KY; 2 Brothers: Jimmy Pirtle Henderson, KY, Raymond Pirtle Niagra, KY; 8 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Daniel Pirtle's Life Celebration from 4:00-8:00PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 and again on Wednesday starting at 10:00am at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Worsham Post #40.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St. Anthony's Hospice and Henderson Relay for Life.
