Donald Ray (Don) McGrew 75, of Dixon, KY

DIXON, Ky. – Donald Ray “Don” McGrew 75, of Dixon, KY passed away on Friday April 19, 2013 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

He was a retired Truck Driver and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He loved his Classic Antique Cars; he started the Dixon Lion’s Club Car Show that lasted 12 years. He also loved woodworking and fishing. He was a member of the Classic Cruisers Car Club.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Reva Jean McGrew of Dixon, KY; three daughters, Tammie Rice of Corydon, KY, Patricia Marshall of Crestwood, KY,and Terri McGrew of Indianapolis, IN, one stepdaughter, Durene Winstead of Dixon, KY; three sons, Larry McGrew of Batesville, Arkansas; Bryan McGrew and Donnie McGrew both of Kansas City, Kansas; one step son, Teddy Bunton of Dixon, KY; twenty grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. Rev. Roger Felker will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY.

Visitation will be from 5-8 on Monday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Military services will be held graveside by the American Legion Worsham Post #40 of Henderson, KY.
