Carl A. Sale, 90

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Carl A. Sale, 90, widower of Jessie Mae Sale, passed away  Thursday, May 09, 2013. Born in Sturgis, KY, he was a son of the late Carl and Willie Sale. He was a retired brick mason, a WWII Navy veteran, and a member of Tates Creek Christian Church.

Survivors are a son, Carl C. Sale (Marti), Lexington; four grandchildren, Jacquie (Ricky) Peterson, Tammy (Lee) Arnold, Cindy (David) Tramell, Floyd R. (Amy) Rayburn; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Sale, and a stepson, Floyd Rayburn.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater KY & Southern Indiana Chapter, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Ln Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284 or American Diabetes Association, P.O.
