1doveWEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. - Ronald Zachary, 78 of Slaughters, KY Passed away Sunday, Aug 18, at Baptist Health in Madisonville at 10:20 AM.

He was born in Webster County, KY on July 27, 1935 to Aubrey and Hazel (Crabtree) Zachary.

He was a member of Onton United Methodist Church. He was an Army National Guard Veteran, Member of American Legion Austin Collins Post# 243 and he was a retired farmer. He also retired from Whirlpool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Arlene Fallis Zachary, one brother Jerry Zachary.

Survivors include 4 children; Ronnie (Nancy) Zachary of Avon Park, Fl. , Kerry (Jan) Zachary, Slaughters, Jeff (Amy) Zachary, Slaughters, Cindy (Chris) Clements of Newburgh, IN. Brothers, Duane Zachary of Slaughters, Brian Zachary of Slaughters, and Mark Allen Zachary of Dixon, KY. One Sister, Peggy Coomes of Madisonville. He had 11 grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, Aug. 22, at 11:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Slaughters-Hanson Chapel, officiating will be Bro. Marty Robertson. Visitation will be Wed. Aug 21 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Full military rites by American Legion Worsham Post 40 of Henderson, KY.
