Dennis Gene Darr, 67, of Clay, Ky.

CLAY, Ky. – Dennis Gene Darr, 67, of Clay, Ky. passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He attended Community Fellowship Church in Clay, Ky. and was a member of the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Karolyn of Clay, Ky.; two daughters, Donna Renshaw of Bowling Green and Denise (Nate) Noble of Morgantown, Ky.; four sisters, Doris Jones of Atlanta, Ga., Joan (Jim) Denton of Madisonville, Ky., Paula (Chuck) Johnson of The Villiages, Fla., and Darby (Bob) Hunter of Versailles, Ky.; one brother, Steven Darr of Sebree, Ky.; five grandchildren, Danny Renshaw II, Rush Renshaw and Mallory Renshaw, Barrett Noble and Reed Noble.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, Ky. with Bro. Earl Reeves officiating and burial to follow in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, Ky. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community Fellowship Church 81 L.N. Railroad St. Clay, Ky. 42404.
