Carl J. Blades, 60, of Robards

ROBARDS, Ky. – Carl J. Blades, 60, of Robards passed away Tuesday July 29, 2014 at 9:29 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He attended First Baptist Church in Sebree.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl V. Blades.

Survivors include his wife Angela Blades; mother, Dorothy Blades of Corydon, Ky.; four children, Natalie King of Lake Mary, Fla., Jennifer Blades of Robards, Ky., Hannah Blades of Henderson, Ky., Isaac Blades of Robards, Ky.; one sister, Rita Austin of Dixon, Ky.; one brother, Robert Blades of Paducah, Ky.; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 2, 2014 at Springdale Cemetery. Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Dacy, Robert Blades, Rob Hayes, Neal Overfield, Daniel Dacy, Danny Edwards and Danny Fowler.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Isaac Blades Education Fund C/O Planters Bank Sebree, Ky.

Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
