ocs football 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (8/23/13) – The Aces kick-off tonight against the Apollo Eagles at Owensboro Catholic High School’s Steele Stadium. Houston Hartz, senior quarterback for the Aces, is ready to play this week. There was never a concern of his availability for the season opener.

Coach John Edge told SurfKY that in order to win his team must stop Apollo’s run game. The Aces defense will have their hands full with Keign Chambers, the senior quarterback for the Eagles. Coach Edge said they must be able to sustain drives and score when in the Red Zone.

Two key points for Owensboro Catholic is putting points on the board and creating turnovers.

The game starts at 7 p.m.
