OWENSBORO, Ky. (10/21/13) – The Daviess County Panthers fell behind McCracken County 21 – 12, after the first quarter at Friday’s game. DC was not able to fight back into game after they surrendered another 28 points the rest of the game. DC lost Friday night to McCracken County 49 – 12 and now sit with a 4 – 4 record.
The gauntlet of games the past three weeks have truly been a test for Panthers, the last three teams DC has faced have a combined record of 21 – 4. DC started off with the huge upset against the undefeated Spartans of South Warren. Then they battled with Henderson before falling behind after half time.
The Panthers schedule finally allows the players a chance to breathe when they take on 1 – 7 Marshall County. So, fans will have to see if Daviess County can get back on track and take care of Marshall.
