OWENSBORO, Ky. (10/25/13) - When Owensboro High School plays any team outside of Bowling Green they are 6 - 0.
This could be bad news for the Storm from Hopkins County Central, since they are located in Madisonville and OHS is outscoring teams 202 - 76 in the past six victories. This year, the Storm have really struggled against competition going 0 - 8 and being outscored 30 - 305.
Last week, Owensboro had their off-week and spent that time preparing for the end of the season the playoffs.
Head Coach Joe Prince told SurfKY News, "We spent our bye week working on fundamentals."
When asked about the game this week against Hopkins County Central, Prince said, "We have to come prepared. This is the time of year we have come together and be ready for the playoffs."
This is the last remaining district game for the Red Devils; OHS has already clinched home field advantage. This game should be a tune-up game for a solid 7 - 1 Henderson team next week.
The game Friday will be in Madisonville and will kick-off at 7 p.m.
