football helmet 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (10/8/13) – Owensboro entered the night 5 – 1 and gained some momentum after two big wins against Ohio County and Madisonville-North Hopkins. The game was close entering the fourth quarter until Warren Central pulled away late in the second half after a 90-plus yard kickoff return from Randell Green. Owensboro ended up losing the game 28 – 7 and fell to 5 – 2.

Red Devils quarterback Nick Locker struggled on the night throwing three interceptions. He ended up with 110 passing yards going 10 – 22 on the night with no touchdowns. Their one touchdown came from Kaeshaun Dulin, who was also the Devils leading rusher with 52 yards.

Owensboro will be tested again this week as they take on 4 – 2 Calloway County.
