webster-baskDIXON, Ky. (7/15/14) — The Webster County High School girls' basketball program, under the direction of head coach Parker McCalister, started hosting the Lady Trojan Basketball Camp Monday July 14.

The youth girls' basketball camp will continue through Thursday July 17 at the high school. Campers are receiving instruction at the camp from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day.

The Webster County-hosted youth basketball camp is for girls entering grades 1-9. Basketball fundamentals are being taught throughout the camp. Members of the Webster County girls' basketball program are providing instruction throughout the event.

Webster County compiled a 17-14 record during the 2013-14 season.

Following a short break, McCalister is back at the helm of the Webster County girls' basketball program. After coaching the Lady Trojans to 23 wins and a 2nd Region All "A" Classic championship in the 2012-13 season, McCalister stepped away. But he's now back after replacing Tonya Wells as Webster County's head coach earlier in the year.

The Parker McCalister-coached Lady Trojans will open preseason practice in mid-October.
